How to remove/delete an inventory from your venue so it isn't used in any calculations in WISK

Introduction

If you need to archive a completed inventory, you can do this on the WISK Web Portal or the mobile app.

Archived inventories are excluded from all calculations in WISK. Nothing is ever deleted permanently in the event that you need to restore it.

You would typically archive an inventory if:

  • the counts are inaccurate, and have no way of providing an accurate count if you were to edit the inventory

  • you took a test inventory and don't want to keep it in your venue

WISK Web Portal

  1. From the Inventories page, click the "..." icon in the Details column of the inventory you want to archive

  2. Click the "Actions" menu button, then "Archive" in the drop-down menu

  3. Click “OK" on the confirmation window

    The "OK" button is highlighted on the confirmation screen.

The archived inventory disappears from your list of completed inventories. If you archived your most recent inventory, it may take a few moments for the "Stock" counts to reset to the previous inventory amounts.

Note: If you archived the wrong inventory by mistake, you can restore it.

Mobile App

  1. From the Inventories tab, tap “Inventories History”

    The "Inventories History" button is highlighted on the "Inventories" screen of the WISK mobile app.
  2. Swipe the inventory count you wish to archive to the left

  3. Tap “Archive”

    The inventory has been swiped to the left and an "Archive" button is now visible. An arrow points to it.
  4. On the confirmation screen, tap "Archive"

    A message appears on screen asking to confirm that you want to archive the inventory. The "Archive" button is highlighted.

The archived inventory disappears from your list of completed inventories.

Note: If you archived the wrong inventory by mistake, you can restore it.
