Introduction

If you already have a Food or Beverage account for a venue, and want to add an account of the other type, users with Admin permissions can do this on the WISK Web Portal or Mobile App.

Note: Adding a new account type requires a new subscription. You’ll be prompted to select a subscription plan and enter payment after creating the account.

WISK Web Portal

1. Click the name of the active venue on the top-left of the screen

2. Click the drop-down menu and click “New Venue”

3. Type the venue name into the “Find your venue” field.

The new venue window appears. You'll type in the name of the venue in the search bar.

Note: If you already used Google Places to create the other account type, start typing the venue name and select “Input Manually”.

Note: There is a checkbox to populate the new venue with a shared item list from the current venue. This is best suited for venues that belong to a group/franchise that have nearly identical inventory and sales items across all venues. In most cases, you won't need to check this. Learn more here:

5. Click “Save” to create the venue

6. You’re then prompted to add payment details to start a subscription for the new account. By default, it selects the same plan tier as the venue you started from. You can click the pencil icon to switch the plan.

7. After adding payment, you’ll have access to the new account.

Mobile App

1. Tap the “More” button on the bottom menu-bar

Note: If you already used Google Places to create the other account type, start typing the venue name and select “I can’t find my venue” to enter the details manually.

5. Add the location details and select the venue type from either Food or Beverage. Then tap “Done” to create the new venue.

6. You’ll be taken to the “Switch Venue” screen and see the new venue. Tap the new venue.

7. You’re then prompted to add payment details to start a subscription for the new account. By default, it selects the same plan tier as the venue you started from. You can tap “Change subscription” to switch the plan.

Edit Venue Name (Optional)

After creating the new account, you can edit the venue name on the WISK Web Portal.

1. Hover your cursor over your username on the bottom left and click “Venue Settings”

2. Click “Edit” beside Venue info

3. Click into the “Venue name” field and make your changes.

4. Click “Save”. The venue name updates.
