Archived Ongoing Inventory Notification

If taking an inventory in the iOS app and another user archives it, you now receive a notification.

The notification tells you who archived the inventory and when, along with next steps to resolve.

The inventory also shows as "Archived" on the inventory home screen.

Speak with the person who archived the inventory to figure out next steps:

  • If you just started the inventory count and see that message, you can back out of the archived inventory and join the new count (if another user has started one)

  • If you have counted a lot of areas, you can restore the inventory on the WISK Web Portal without any data loss.

For more information about next steps and this new feature, please see:

iOS Inventory UI Update

We have updated the UI of the Inventory screen in the iOS app.

Notable changes include:

  • A reworked header that shows the inventory start time and whether the inventory is ongoing or finished with distinct colours. It also shows any unsynced offline counts (if any)

    • yellow = ongoing

    • green = complete

  • The “Add another area” button is now a simpler + button beside the “Areas” header

  • Larger sections for each area and its photo

Distributor Integrations - Upload Supporting Images

For anyone automatically importing invoices via a distributor integration, you can now attach an image of the paper invoice to the draft.

This is mostly to help in situations where the distributor may have sent an invoice with errors and the paper invoice is required to process the invoice.

Right now this can only be done via the iOS app. For more information, see:

Inventory Page By Item - Area Selector

When viewing inventories on the WISK Web Portal, there is now an area selector on the "By Item" tab.

The area selector is highlighted for visibility

Click the drop-down to toggle areas on/off to see only the counts from those areas for each item.

An arrow points to the areas to select.

The total inventory value adjusts to reflect only the selected venues. If you place your cursor over the count of an item it shows the breakdown per area.

Areas have been selected and it shows the count for that item

Autogenerated Codes for Batches and Draft POS Items

When creating a Batch or Draft POS Item, they now get assigned a human-readable code / reference number.

The format is as follows:

TYPE-YYYYMMDD-###

  • TYPE: Batch or POS Item

  • YYYYMMDD: The date it was created

  • ###: sequence number / the number created that day

Examples:

  • POSITEM-20260311-001

  • BATCH-20250604-001

When mapping POS Items or other batches, the code is searchable:

And if importing ingredients from a draft POS Item to a regular one:

Historical Item Stock Report

A new report is now available on the WISK Web Portal that shows your Estimated Stock at the end of each day based on sales and movements.

Important: This requires an active POS Integration because sales data is used to calculate your Real Time Stock.

To view the Historical Item Stock report click Reports / Analytics > Historical Item Stock on the side menu bar.

The "Historical Item Stock" report is highlighted for visibility

By default, it shows today's date and all actions affecting item stock since the last inventory count. This gives you each item's current Estimated Stock.

The Historical Item Stock Report

If you change the date, it shows everything that happened in the venue after the last inventory count and before 11:59PM in the venue's timezone that day.

For more information about this report, see:

Date & Time Selector When Creating Movements

When adding certain types of movements (depletions, transfers, etc) in the web and iOS app, it would put the present date and time when created. If you needed to back date the movement you would change it after.

We have changed this so you can set the date & time when creating the movement. It still defaults to the present, but you can adjust as needed.

The following movements were changed:

Web

  • Depletions

  • Returns

  • Transfers to Areas (within the venue)

  • Transfer to Partner Venue

iOS

  • Depletions

  • Transfers to Areas (within the venue)

Invoice Number is Now a Required Field

When adding invoices, "Invoice Number" is now a required field.

This is because when adding invoices for a specific distributor, we check to see if any other invoices with the same number exist for that distributor.

Since this wasn't required, this led to invoices being added without numbers which resulted in duplicate entries.

What this means is that:

  1. When adding a manual invoice on the web or app you are required to enter an invoice number.

  2. When adding an invoice via a purchase order on the web or app you are also required to enter an invoice number.

Note: You can enter any value in this field, but by putting the actual invoice number you help prevent any duplicates being added to your account.

iOS - Syncing Issues Indicator in App

When using the mobile app, it calls the WISK servers every 10 seconds to fetch the latest information / changes. This includes updates to items, inventory counts taken by other users etc.

There is now an indicator/icon if in the last 30 seconds it fails to fetch the latest changes at least once. This is to highlight situations where you may have a stable internet connection, but are not getting the latest data from the WISK server.

An arrow points to the icon.

This can explain syncing issues if something appears on one device, but not the other despite being connected to the internet. If you tap the icon it gives more information:

If the icon doesn't disappear in a few moments, please contact [email protected] or reach out in the chat to get help.
