Introduction

If you need to edit details of any of your items, you can do this on the WISK Web Portal or mobile app. On both platforms, you can edit items from the Items Page, or during certain actions (inventory, ordering, adding invoices).

This article goes over how to access the "Edit" screen. Please see the "Managing Items" section of our Help Site to learn more about specific actions you can take:

WISK Web Portal

Items Page Table

On the "Items" Page, you can click into columns in the table to update an item's info. Depending on the field, you can either enter text, select from a drop-down menu, or mark a checkbox.

On Mouseover

On most pages of the WISK Web Portal, when you place your cursor over an item, a pencil icon appears . Click this to make changes to the item.

A separate window opens where you can update the item's details. Any changes made in this window save automatically.

Mobile App

There are two ways to access the "Edit Item" screen in the mobile app.

  1. Swiping an item to the left when it appears on a list

  2. Tapping the "Edit" icon when an item is called up / scanned

Swipe to Edit

  1. When your items appear in a list, swipe an item to the left

An arrow points to the left beside the item to indicate swiping to the left.

  2. Tap "Edit"

An arrow points to the "Edit" button that appears after swiping the item.
  3. Update any of the fields that need to be changed (Name, Volume, Category, Weight etc.), then tap "Save"

The "Edit Item" screen opens and you can make changes to the item. Tap Save when finished.

Called Up / Scanned Item

When an item is called up:

  1. Tap the pencil icon in the top right corner

An arrow points to the pencil icon on the top right of the screen.

  2. Update any of the fields that need to be changed (Name, Volume, Category, Weight etc.), then tap "Save"

The "Edit Item" screen opens and you can make changes to the item. Tap Save when finished.
