Introduction

The WISK platform supports many units of measurement.

When looking at reporting for your weight and volume based items, values are represented in units, but also in the item's unit of measurement (ml, oz, lb, kg)

The units and unit of measurement are shown on the variance page

To help standardize reporting, we've added the ability to set default units of measurement for both weight and volume. This way you can see all values in the same unit of measurement across all items.

You'll find new columns on the WISK Web Portal showing the selected defaults for weight and volume, but using them is optional.

Here the sales and consumption figures are shown in the default units of measurement for reporting

Setting Default UM for Reporting

In all venues, the default reporting units are:

  • Weight - grams

  • Volume - millilitres

To change the default reporting units:

  1. Place the cursor over your user name on the bottom left and click "Venue Settings"

The "Venue Settings" menu option is highlighted for emphasis

  2. Scroll down until you see the see the "Default UM Weight" and "Default UM Volume" drop-down menus

  3. Click into either menu and select the desired reporting unit.

Note: If you're currently on a page displaying a column for the default UM, refresh or navigate to another page for the changes to appear
