How to bring back any items that you have archived in your venue

Introduction

If you archived an item, but now carry it again, you can restore it on the:

Restored items appear in your venue’s list of items by default, and can be added to orders.

Note: You can only restore items that you archived directly. Any items that were archived as the result of merging or grouping cannot be restored.

Restoring an Item

On the Items screen:

  1. Click the “Predefined filters” drop-down menu

  2. Select the “Archived” filter

  3. You’ll now see all the archived items in your venue. Hover your cursor over the item you wish to restore and click the blue arrow, then “Restore”

  4. Click “OK” on the confirmation window

Restoring Multiple Items

If you need to restore multiple items at once:

  1. Click the checkbox beside the item(s) you want to restore

  2. Click “Restore” on the pop-up window that appears

    The checkbox beside an item has been selected, and a window appears along the bottom of the screen with an option to restore the selected items. An arrow points at the "Restore" button.
  3. Click “OK” on the confirmation window

Tap the "Inventories" tab, then "Items"

  1. Tap the view selector and select “View archived”

  2. Find the item you want to restore, and swipe it to the left

  3. Tap “Unarchive”

  4. Tap “Unarchive” on the confirmation screen.

During an Inventory Count

If you scan the barcode of an archived item or item variation while taking an inventory count, you'll receive a prompt asking if you want to unarchive the item/variation.

To restore the item, tap "Unarchive".
