Introduction
Areas are physical spaces in your venue where inventory is stored.
In the WISK app, you can manage your areas from the Venue Settings, or during an inventory.
When managing your areas, you can add, edit, or delete them.
Venue Settings
Adding an Area
Tap the 3 dots on the top right of the screen, then tap “Add area”
Enter the area name. You can also take or upload a picture by typing “Add Photo"
Tap “Save”
Note: Area names must be unique. You cannot create an area with the same name as an existing or archived area. If try this, you'll receive an error message
The new area appears in your list of areas
Note: When you take your next inventory, you can count the area. The new area won't appear in inventories that were completed in the past.
Reordering Areas
Tap the 3 dots on the top right of the screen, then tap “Change order of areas”
Drag and drop the areas into your desired order
Tap "Save order of areas"
Editing an Area
Swipe an area to the left
Tap “Edit”
You can change the name of the area, or add / change the photo. After making your changes, tap “Save”.
Note: You can also set the area as the default area for invoices and returns by swiping it to the left and tapping “Set default”
Deleting an Area
Swipe an area to the left
Tap “Delete”
Note: If the area is the default area you won't see the delete button
Tap “Delete” on the confirmation screen
The area is now deleted / archived.
The deleted area will still appear in your past inventories, but won't appear when you take your next inventory.

During Inventory
You can manage your areas from the home screen of an inventory count.
Note: If you start an inventory and don't see your areas/your areas have disappeared, please contact support to fix the issue. Don't re-add your areas.
Adding an Area
To add an area, tap "Add another area".
Editing / Deleting an Area
To edit an area, swipe it to the left and tap "Edit Area". On this screen you can edit the area details or delete it.
If you try to delete the default area, you'll see the following message saying that it can't be deleted. If you want to delete the default area, set another area as the default first.
