When WISK integrates with your POS system, it receives your sales data for each POS / Menu item (menu price, quantity sold, etc.).

The purpose of entering your recipes in WISK (i.e. mapping your POS Items) is to establish a link between sales items from the POS and inventory products from WISK.

WISK has all the information for both your Items and your POS Items, making this association possible. Your POS does not have the necessary data to link WISK products to POS Items.
