You can integrate your Lightspeed K-Series account with WISK in a matter of minutes.
Just log into the WISK Web Portal and follow the steps outlined below.
Once the integration is complete, WISK starts importing sales data into your venue.

Step 1 - Select Lightspeed K-Series as POS
On the WISK Web Portal, hover your cursor over your username on the bottom left, and click “Venue Settings” on the menu that appears
Click the "Edit" button beside POS Type
Select Lightspeed K-Series from the list of POS providers
Before starting the setup process, use the checkboxes to configure how your POS Items from Lightspeed K-Series appear in WISK. For descriptions of each checkbox, please see the "Customizing Your Sales Data / POS Items" section below
Click "Set up"
Note: This opens Lightspeed's login page in a new window. If nothing appears, please temporarily disable your browser's pop-up blocker and try again.
Step 2 - Log in to Lightspeed
In the Lightspeed window that opens, type your Lightspeed username and password and click "Login"
Toggle on each option and click "Authorize"
The integration is being set up and only takes a few moments. You'll see a message when the integration is complete

Return to the browser window with the WISK Web Portal
Step 3 - Complete Integration
If you haven't checked any of the boxes to configure how your sales data is imported, you can do this now. See:

To finish the integration, click “Save”
After the integration is complete, WISK pulls from up to your last 6 months of sales data (unless you selected include all POS Items). It may take a few hours for your sales data to appear.
Note: If you receive an error message or sales data doesn't appear in your venue in a couple of hours, please contact WISK support. You can send an email to [email protected] or reach out in the chat.
Customizing Your Sales Data / POS Items
When setting up the integration, or anytime after, you can customize how your sales data / POS Items appear in WISK. This is essential if you make extensive use of modifiers.
Include all POS Items even if not sold - By default, WISK only pulls menu items with sales from up to the last 6 months to keep the number of items manageable. If you toggle this on, it’ll pull all historical menu items, and any new items you create before they're sold for the first time.
Include modifiers with price of 0 - If toggled on, menu modifiers that don't affect the price are attached to your POS Items. For example, you may have a Pad Thai menu item with a choice of protein (chicken, beef, tofu, etc). If it isn't toggled on, you'll see just see "Pad Thai", but if toggled on there is a POS item for each option that you can map accordingly (Pad Thai - Chicken, Pad Thai - Beef, etc).
Other examples include the type of mix used in a drink (orange juice, ginger ale, etc) or the choice of side with an entree (fries, soup, salad). This has the potential to create a large number of POS Items, but can provide greater accuracy with your recipe mapping / costing.
Import Modifiers as separate POS Items - When you select this option, your menu item modifiers appear as separate POS Items. This applies to both modifiers that include an up-charge, and modifiers with a price of 0.
For example, if you sell "Tito's Vodka Single" and you use modifiers to track the mix that it is sold with, it appears differently depending on whether this box is checked. Lets say we sell it with Orange Juice:
Checked - There will be a separate POS Item for "Tito's Vodka Single", and for "Orange Juice". Orange Juice could be used as a modifier in multiple items, and it will only appear as one POS Item that needs to be mapped.
Unchecked - There will be a combined POS Item of "Tito's Vodka Single - Orange Juice".
Clear Previous Sales Data
If you have imported your sales data, but realized the settings aren't displaying your POS Items and modifiers the way you want, you can make changes.
You can clear all previous sales data by clicking the “Clear Previous Data” button.
Deletes all sales data from the venue
Keeps all mapped POS Items
Removes all unmapped POS Items
You can then click the “Save” button with your new settings and it re-imports all of your sales data based on what you’ve selected.
Note: To reduce the amount of required effort, it’s best to customize your sales data after integrating and before POS mapping begins.
Expired Authentication Token
The integration with Lightspeed requires an authentication token that is generated during setup. Some events can cause the token to expire which disables the integration.
If this happens, you'll receive a notification on web.wisk.ai and an email saying the token has expired. To re-integrate, just go through the setup process again to generate a new token.
